NO to the ferry fare increase. There were no public hearings, no economic impact study, did not follow correct procedure adopting regulations, neither by the Transportation Authority in San Juan or by the VIEQUES Legislature. Completely illegal actions done in the name of progress. Sustainable tourism means protecting the local community to afford to live here. This fare increase promotes displacement. #ElALZANOVA #NoFareIncreaseVieques
